Poltimore House and Grounds offer a popular and unique venue for many different types of event including weddings, parties, dinners, concerts, exhibitions, performances, corporate awaydays, workshops and conferences. We have also hosted photo shoots and film crews looking for a very different type of location.
Choose from a wide variety of spaces including the former Chapel and The Lawns – which provide enough space to house several large marquees. Much of the House itself is awaiting restoration, but its highly atmospheric courtyard, hall and other rooms have provided a distinctive location for many events that require something out of the ordinary.
Event participants can also make use of our 13 acres of delightful Ground for ‘walk and talk’ activities or simply to relax. We provide great food and drink at Branches Café and can also offer bespoke catering (including a bar service) for your event.
All profits from venue hire contribute to the restoration of this historic Devon House and its Grounds. By holding your event with us, you really are making a difference.
